Welcome to the Home Page of the now forming Detroit Grim Reapers adult Senior Ice Hockey Team.
We are
a senior (adult)
ice hockey team based in suburban Detroit and hope to skate out of
Suburan Sports in
Farmington Hills or the Troy Sports Center. While we certainly
hope to form a team capable of competing in the Troy Sports Center's
adult open "D" league, our goal is to organize a team that will compete
in the 50+ age bracket in the Michigan Senior Olympics to be held next
January or February 2008. We have a goalie and a couple of guys,
but we are open to ANYONE. For our league play there is no age
limit, for the Olympics, the 50+ age limit is firm.
Some of us have skated in Hockey North America, various adult leagues and the Suburban Hockey Schools Breakfast Club. While we are in no way "B" level players, most of us have had a few years of experience.
